A Novel Isolate of Bean Common Mosaic Virus Isolated from Crownvetch (Securigera varia L. Lassen)

چکیده

Bean common mosaic virus from the genus Potyvirus has a wide range of hosts and very negative impact on cultivated crops Phaseolus. The risk viral infection economically important increases even if carriers are related plant species growing agroecological interfaces. Such have emerged as new for BCMV, usually harboring novel genetic variants virus. A variant BCMV was isolated symptomatic crownvetch plant, where presence this confirmed via Western blot analysis amino acid identities in peptide fragments CI, HC-pro, CP proteins using nanoLC-ESI-Q-TOF. SVK isolate differed most genetically similar one 0.91% nucleotides 1.55% acids. highest number substitutions (8.8% acids) P1 protein, followed by (2.44% acids). Minor were Hc-pro, Nib proteins. host carrier isolate.

NL-3 K Strain Is a Stable and Naturally Occurring Interspecific Recombinant Derived from Bean common mosaic necrosis virus and Bean common mosaic virus.

ABSTRACT A strain of Bean common mosaic necrosis virus (BCMNV) from Idaho was identified by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using monoclonal antibodies and determined to be similar to the NL-3 D strain (of Drifjhout) by reaction of differential bean cultivars. However, this BCMNV strain (designated NL-3 K) caused earlier and more severe symptoms on bean plants representing host groups 0, 4, a...

Biplot Analysis for Evaluation of Tolerance in Some Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) Genotypes to Bean Common Mosaic Virus (BCMV)

The common bean is the most important grain legume for direct human consumption in the world and BCMV is one of the world's most serious bean diseases that can reduce yield and quality of harvested product. To determine the best tolerance index to BCMV and recognize tolerant genotypes, 2 experiments were conducted in field conditions. Twenty five common bean genotypes were sown in 2 separate RC...

First Complete Genome Sequence of Bean common mosaic necrosis virus from East Timor

We present here the first complete Bean common mosaic necrosis virus (BCMNV) genomic sequence isolated from virus-infected common bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) in East Timor, and compare it with six complete BMCNV genomes from the Netherlands, and one each from the United States, Tanzania, and an unspecified country. It most resembled the Netherlands strain NL-8 genome.
